What You'll Learn

Electro Play

Explore the basics of electro play, including equipment, different sensations, introductory techniques and important safety considerations. Learn about body areas that require additional awareness or should be avoided, and why understanding the equipment and its risks matters before exploring.

Wax Play

Discover the world of wax play, from choosing appropriate wax to understanding temperature, distance, technique and protecting your play space. Explore ways to create different sensations while remaining aware of burns and other potential risks.

Sensation Play

Explore how temperature, texture, pressure, touch and anticipation can create experiences ranging from soft and teasing to more intense sensations. Discover tools and everyday items that can bring variety, creativity and surprise into a scene.

Consent, Negotiation & Communication

Before the play begins, there needs to be a conversation. We'll discuss informed consent, boundaries, limits, health considerations, communication, safewords and signals, and ensuring everyone understands what has and hasn't been agreed to.

We'll also explore how negotiation can change depending on the sensations and activities involved, and the importance of ongoing check-ins.

Safety & Risk Awareness

Understand important risks associated with electro, wax and other sensation-based activities. We'll discuss equipment awareness, recognizing warning signs, checking in with partners, knowing when to stop and making informed choices. Not every activity is suitable for every person, and no form of play is entirely risk-free.

Demonstrations & Exploration

See equipment and techniques demonstrated, learn how different sensations can be combined, and explore the role of anticipation, intensity and connection in building an intentional scene.

Bring your curiosity and your questions! There is no expectation that you have previous experience or participate in any hands-on activity. Learning and observing are always welcome.

Important Check-In Information

The front desk will be open from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM for event check-in.

Class begins promptly at 7:15 PM and concludes at 9:00 PM. Once the front desk closes, late entry will not be available.

Please arrive on time and bring your government-issued photo ID.

Venue Information

The KNetic Bar will be open during the evening.

The playroom will NOT be open for general play during this event. This evening is focused on education, demonstrations, conversation and connection.
