December is about coming together, and this month we're adding a little extra holiday warmth to our Illusions gathering with a community Christmas potluck!
Bring something that makes the season special to you. It could be a favourite family recipe, an appetizer, comfort food, holiday baking, something sweet, something savoury, or simply a festive treat you picked up on the way.
Homemade or store-bought, fancy or simple, it's all welcome.
The important part is sharing some food, some laughs and a little holiday cheer together.

Whether you're just beginning your journey or have been walking this path for years, Illusions Calgary is a place to connect, be yourself and explore different sides of your identity within a supportive and welcoming community.
For our December gathering, we're adding a little Christmas magic to the evening. Come dressed festive, glamorous, cozy, sparkly or simply as yourself and enjoy a night of friendship, food and connection.

Who We Are
Founded in the 1990s, Illusions Calgary is a member-operated social club and support group for the cross-dressing and trans* community, along with allies. We provide a safe and affirming space for trans-feminine individuals and anyone across the gender spectrum, with a special focus on those who are new, closeted or simply seeking connection.
What to Expect
Our meet-ups are informal social gatherings designed to foster friendship, encouragement and connection. We meet on the second Thursday of every month from 7:00 - 11:00 PM.
Some evenings may feature special themes or activities, but the focus is always on creating a relaxed environment where you can socialize, connect and enjoy the company of community.
Venue
We meet at KNetic Calgary South, offering discreet parking and private entrances to help ensure comfort and confidentiality. Inside, you'll find a welcoming environment where acceptance is always the priority.
Entry & Beverages
• A $25 CASH ONLY entry fee applies at the door.
• The full KNetic Flex Bar will be open with a large variety of beverages available for purchase.
• You are also welcome to BYOL. Your corkage fee is included in the entry price.
• The KNetic Bar accepts all forms of payment.
Your Experience, Your Pace
There are no expectations about how you arrive or participate. Some members come in "boy mode" and gradually explore their femininity, while others arrive ready to shine from the moment they walk through the door.
Partners, friends and allies are always welcome.
