For the first time ever, KNetic Calgary South is celebrating Calgary Pride across TWO incredible nights!
Before Saturday's massive Pride celebration takes over KNetic, we're kicking off the weekend Friday night with something a little different.
A night about being seen.
A night about meeting each other.
A night about connection.
At KNetic, you don't need a special night dedicated to your sexuality before you're welcomed through our doors. Every sexuality, every gender and every relationship structure is welcomed at KNetic every night.
But Pride is also about visibility.
So we're beginning Calgary Pride Weekend by shining some extra light on the identities and experiences that can sometimes get lost between the letters.
Pride Is Bigger Than Any One Label.
Asexual. Demisexual.
Queer. Questioning.
Fluid. Exploring.
And all the beautiful places between, beyond and outside the labels.
Whatever your sexuality, whoever you're attracted to, however you identify, or even if you're still figuring that out, you're invited.
Come with your partner. Come with friends. Come by yourself. Meet someone new. Start a conversation. Find someone whose experiences are completely different from yours and discover everything you still have in common.
Who you're currently dating doesn't erase your sexuality.
Who you arrived with doesn't define who you can be attracted to.
You don't have to "look queer enough." You don't need to choose a label before you're ready. And you certainly don't need to prove your identity before you're allowed to celebrate it.
